'Snowy 'Owl’dham' is an installation that tells the story of the winter snowy owl inspired by the Owl of Oldham and its community, visually referencing themes of togetherness, light and unity for the festive season. As you approach the snowy scene you will see viewing circles for all the family. Take a peek to discover a light and paper installation of 247 Owls representing Oldham’s 247,000 population.
May Wild Studio are Saddleworth-based collaborative creative practitioners. Designers, makers and educators, Rebecca May and Michael Wild develop and design handmade objects, site-specific exhibitions, commissions, workshops and installations. ‘Our core values centre around storytelling, collaboration, material innovation and handcraft’.
