Oldham Council is again asking residents to join in next week’s Full Council meeting from the comfort of their own homes.

The Full Council meeting on Wednesday, September 11 will be streamed live on our website from 6pm:

Previous interactive question times have been a success and are designed to make decision-making more open and transparent – while at the same time bringing public meetings into the digital age.

Our live internet streaming allows residents to watch the entire meeting live from laptops and other digital devices.

The meeting will also be broadcast live on Oldham Community Radio (99.7fm).

As part of the arrangements Full Council also starts with a new 20-minute ‘Open Council’ session that enables members of the public to put questions directly to Cabinet Members.

Residents can take part in a variety of ways and submit their questions via Social Media networks Facebook and Twitter, or email.

Questions must be submitted before 6pm on September 11 and will be asked at the meeting on a first-come, first-served basis.

To submit questions before the deadline send an email to, visit or Tweet your question direct to @OldhamQT
