National restrictions are now in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus. 

However, safe book browsing is now available at the following sites:

  • Oldham Monday to Thursday 10am – 7pm, Friday and Saturday 10am – 5pm
  • Chadderton Monday to Saturday 10am – 5pm 
  • Crompton, Failsworth, Lees, Royton and Uppermill Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturday 10am – 1pm
  • Delph Tuesday to Thursday 2pm – 5pm, Saturday 10am – 1pm
  • Fitton Hill, Greenfield, Limehurst, Northmoor Tuesday to Thursday 2pm – 5pm Friday to Saturday 10am – 1pm

You can also return books to any of the libraries listed.

Use a computer at a public library 

Oldham Libraries are currently offering computer access and printing facilities at :

  • Oldham
  • Crompton
  • Lees
  • Failsworth
  • Royton
  • Uppermill
  • Chadderton
  • Fitton Hill
  • Greenfield
  • Northmoor
  • Limehurst

These computures will be available for drop in sessions for a maximum of 1 hour and 1 seesion per day,

We have moved our Digital Drop-In sessions online and share resources and create content to support digital skills and to support access to a wide-ranging digital library service including eBooks, newspapers, magazines, and online resources for research and learning.

Click and Collect

You can still access our Click and Collect service if you would prefer. Tell us what type of books you like to read and staff will make selections on your behalf. They will then be packed ready for you to collect from your chosen library from the list.  You will receive an email when your books are ready.
