Why do you need a new grey bin?

4. I need an extra bin for all my rubbish

If you only have one grey bin and you are recycling all your rubbish, you may be entitled to extra rubbish bins but only if:

  • there are five or more people in your house
  • someone has a medical condition that creates extra rubbish
  • you have two or more children in nappies
  • you live in a house that has been converted into flats and there isn't a bin for each flat

If you meet one or more of these conditions you can apply for an assessment for an extra grey bin. To see if you qualify, please complete this form:
