3. Traffic Regulation Order Signs

A Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is a legal order which allows us to place restrictions on the use of a public highway (any area over which the public have the right to pass or repass).

Examples of a Traffic Regulation Order include:

  • Double or single yellow lines;
  • One-way streets;
  • Residents' parking;
  • Loading bays;
  • Speed and weight limits.

We are required to provide signs for most Traffic Regulation Orders.
