Vaccinations are now available to anyone aged 12 or above. Anyone over 12 can book online. Anyone over 16 can visit one of our local vaccine clinics without an appointment.

My Account is for residents to access their Council Tax and Housing Benefit accounts; Landlords to view their Housing Benefit payments; Businesses to access their Business Rates accounts and schools to view Free School Meal awards.

Troubleshooting

No activation email

If you do not receive an email to activate your account, try entering your details again or checking your spam folder.

Trouble logging in

You must use the email and password you used to create the account.

Please note that your password and the answers to your security questions are case sensitive and must be entered in the same format you used when setting up the account.

Make sure you have activated the account by clicking on the link in the email you were sent when you signed up.

Forgotten password

Please note your password is case sensitive.

You can reset your My Account password from the login screen by selecting ‘I forgot my password’. 

You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Please note this Link is only valid for 24 Hours.

If you do not receive this email, please check your spam email folders.

If you have still not received the email it may be because you are not answering the security question correctly.

Please try again and make sure you answer the questions correctly and remember the answers are case sensitive.

Forgotten answer to security questions

Please note your security question answers are case sensitive.

If you cannot remember the answer to your security questions or the format you used i.e. capital letters/lowercase you will need to contact the My Account Support Team and ask them to delete your account.

Once the account has been deleted you can register again as a new customer using the same email address.

Don’t have a Council Tax reference number

If you have recently moved into a property and have not yet informed the Council, you can tell us by completing the online Change of Address Form. Once you receive your bill, you can register for the Council Tax service in My Account.

If you already have a Council Tax account, you will find your reference number on your bill. If you don’t have a copy of your bill, please contact the Council Tax Team to request a copy to be sent to you in the post.

Please note that the My Account Support Team cannot provide you with this reference number.

Problems registering your Council Tax account

When registering to see details of your Council Tax account you will be asked to enter a reference number, once entered, you will need to click Access Now. You will then need to answer a number of security questions relating to your account.

These details must match the information on your latest Council Tax bill.

If you cannot answer the questions correctly you can tick the box at the bottom of the page that says, ‘I do not have enough information’ and this will allow you to request a pin number that will be sent out to you in the post.

Problems registering your Benefits account

When registering to see details of your Benefits account you will be asked to enter a reference number, once entered, you will need to click Access Now. You will then need to answer a number of security questions relating to your account.

If you cannot answer the questions correctly you can tick the box at the bottom of the page that says, ‘I do not have enough information’ and this will allow you to request a pin number that will be sent out to you in the post.

Problems registering for the Landlord service

When registering for the Landlord service you will need your creditor reference number. 

If you do not already have this, you will need to contact the Benefits Service who will be able to provide this over the phone or via email.  

You will need to enter your creditor reference number and will then be asked a number of security questions.

If you cannot answer the questions correctly you can tick the box at the bottom of the page that says, ‘I do not have enough information’ and this will allow you to request a pin number that will be sent out to you in the post. 

If you have multiple creditor reference numbers, you will need to repeat the process for each reference number.

Problems registering your Business Rates account

When registering to see details of your Business Rates account you will be asked to enter a reference number, once entered, you will need to click Access Now. You will then need to answer a number of security questions relating to your account.

These details must match the information on your latest Business Rates bill.

If you cannot answer the questions correctly you can tick the box at the bottom of the page that says, ‘I do not have enough information’ and this will allow you to request a pin number that will be sent out to you in the post.

If your Business Rates account has been recently created, you may be directed straight to the request a pin page.

I have requested a pin but haven’t received it

Please allow up to 7 days to receive your pin letter. This will be sent to you in the post and will not arrive by email or text message.

Please note that if you clicked Enter your PIN and not Access Now during the service registration process, you will not be sent a pin.

If you click Enter your PIN in error, please click - Remove Account and Add Service to start the service registration process again.
