Vaccinations are now available to anyone aged 12 or above. Anyone over 12 can book online. Anyone over 16 can visit one of our local vaccine clinics without an appointment.

The Academies and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme is a £126m capital investment plus £11m ICT investment in five new, state of the art, Secondary school buildings and facilities.

Oldham Council, strongly supported by stakeholders, has developed an ambitious vision for the transformation of learning through this programme, where each of the schools will also become drivers for community integration and regeneration.

Specific project objectives include:

  • Delivering educational transformation
  • Enhancing integration of students from different ethnic and social backgrounds
  • Schools becoming drivers for social inclusion and regeneration
  • Providing state-of-the-art community and sports facilities

Building work for the programme completed in 2014 with five new secondary schools all completed:
