  1. Nomination Papers can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the Elections Office, Room 222, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm excluding bank holidays.
  2. Nomination Papers are to be delivered to the Returning Officer between 10am and 4pm at the Elections Office, Room 222, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL, on any date after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday, but no later than 4pm on Thursday, 8 April 2021.
  3. Applications to be included in the register of electors must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by Monday 19 April 2021. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Elections Office, Room 222, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL by 5pm on Tuesday, 20 April 2021.
  4. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Elections Office, Room 222, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL by 5pm on Tuesday, 27 April 2021, if they are to be effective for the election.
  5. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Elections Office, Room 222, Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UL by 5 p.m. on Thursday 6 May 2021. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021.
  6. All applications to vote by proxy, or to alter existing proxy arrangements by changing the person who is appointed as a proxy, on coronavirus grounds (including where a person is self-isolating due to having coronavirus or being at risk of having it, where a person is shielding, or where a person who has already been appointed as an applicant’s proxy is similarly affected by coronavirus) must reach the relevant Electoral Registration Officer by 5:00 pm on Thursday 6 May 2021, if they are to be effective for the election
  7. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021 from 7am to 10pm.
