There are several sources of funding available locally and regionally to support new and existing businesses.

Oldham Enterprise Fund

A62 Failsworth Business Improvement Grants

The Council is improving the A62 corridor through Failsworth and local independent businesses are invited to apply for a grant of up to £3,000 to improve their premises.

Shaw and Lees Business Improvement Grants

The Council is investing £100,000 to increase the vibrancy of Lees and Shaw Town Centres and offering up to £3,000 of grant support to independent businesses.

Oldham's Independent Quarter - Support for local businesses

The Council is investing £1 million in new and existing independent businesses to revitalise the area between Yorkshire Street, Clegg Street and Union Street (East) - Oldham’s Independent Quarter.

There is lots of free help available to local businesses.

South Pennines LEADER Programme – Giving grants to rural businesses

The South Pennines LEADER Programme has a budget of £1,269,000 and runs until March 2019.  

In England LEADER is the delivery mechanism for funding from the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) funded through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
