If you are asked to add a service that you already have access to, please do not try to add the service or request a PIN. We hope to resolve the issue soon and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

5. How the Resource Panel works

Decision Panels decide what support may be offered.

Members of the panel will be given a recent assessment also they will be informed of what kind of support is requested and the family circumstances.

The panel has at least a day before they meet to read the information and get to know the case.

Each assessment is looked at individually by the panel members who will discuss the request and whether it is reasonable, would meet the needs and improve family life.

The panel will look at all possible alternatives before agreeing to any services commissioned by the local authority.

All the details of the meeting are recorded and you are contacted with the outcome of the request by your assessor.
