Weekly clinics at the children’s centre. By appointment only, contact the children’s centre to make an appointment

Babbling Babies

For babies aged 4–12 months, join this six-week communication and fun play programme for you and your baby. Contact the children’s centre to book a place.

Baby clinic

Have your baby weighed and discuss your baby’s progress with the health visiting team – held at Oldham Library.

Baby Play

Explore early child development in a fun and informal session (for babies aged 0–18 months).

Little Talkers

A five-week programme looking at strategies to support your child’s speech and language development. Referral only (self-referrals accepted).

Stay and Play

For children aged 0–5years these fun activities support learning and development through play.

Speech and Language

Monthly drop-in for parents or carers who may have concerns around their child’s speech and language.

Getting here

Coldhurst Children’s Centre is located on the same site as Richmond Academy on Winterbottom Street. Buses (58 and 59) run from Oldham town centre and stop close to the centre. We are on the second stop on Middleton Road. The tram runs nearby every 10 - 15 minutes and stops at Westwood tram station. Walk up Middleton Road and turn right onto Winterbottom Street.
