Baby Play
This is a free to access play session for babies and children who are not independently mobile.
Please see the timetable or contact the Children Centre for days, times and availability.
Play and Stay
These are free play and stimulation sessions for children up to five years old.

REAL (Raising Early Achievement in Literacy)
We offer a range of group or individual sessions which will support you as a parent with your child’s development.
These sessions help your child to get ‘ready to learn’. If you would like further information, please contact the Children Centre.
Speech, Language and Communication pathway
Please contact the Children’s Centre if you have any concerns about your child’s speech, language and communication skills.
The professionals there will help you to find the right support.

Toy Library and Story Sacks
Why buy when you can borrow? We have a large selection of toys to suit ages 0 – 5.
Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
You can buy toothbrushes and toothpaste from the centre - at only £1.50 for 3 items (one item must be toothpaste).
Feeder Cups
You can buy Tommee Tippee free flow feeder cups with 3 lids for only £1.20 from the centre.
Healthy Start Vitamins
Healthy start can be collected with a healthy start card or purchased – womens tablets for 80p and children’s drops for £1.60

If travelling from Lees (A669):
Turn right onto Hartshead Street, following the road onto Rhodes Hill. Turn right onto Lees New Road, at the second mini roundabout turn onto Wildmoor Avenue, Alexandra Children’s Centre is on the right.
If travelling from Kings Street Roundabout Junction between A627 and A62:
Take the turning onto Park Road; continue along through the traffic lights onto Abbeyhills Road. Continue along Abbeyhills Road. Past the speed camera. Turn left onto Lees New Road; at the third mini roundabout turn left onto Wildmoor Avenue. Alexandra Children’s Centre is on the right
