Medlock Vale Children’s Centre is one of 4 centres in the West Oldham District Children’s Centre Cluster.
The District Leader is Karen Bennett, and the Deputy District Leader for Alexandra and Medlock Vale Children's Centres is Annette McGranahan.

Free Smoke Alarm
For a free smoke alarm and fire risk assessment phone 0800 555 815.
A member of the Community Outreach team is based at the centre. They can offer advice, information and support to parents. Drop in or give us a call.
Why buy when you can borrow? The toy library is available Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Teen parents can book an appointment with a Connexions advisor on 0161 621 9697.
Vitamin drops and tablets are available at the centre Monday to Friday. Bring your coupon and present it to the receptionist.
Home Safety Equipment
You may be entitled to free safety gate and home safety pack. Contact the centre for details.

Hot and cold drinks and yummy food. Located in the Honeywell Centre.

Our Family Engagement Worker will do 4 visits with you to help encourage your child's love of stories and rhymes.

Medlock Vale Children’s Centre is in the Honeywell Centre on Hadfield Street in Hathershaw.
From Ashton Road, turn onto Hadfield Street.
If you reach the Park Cake factory, you have gone too far.
Buses (409 and 425) run every 10 minutes from Oldham town centre and stop close to the centre.
