The District Leader is Karen Bennett, and the Deputy District Leader for Alexandra and Medlock Vale Children’s Centres is Annette McGranahan. 

Alexandra Children's Centre is one of 4 centres within the West Oldham District Children's Centre Cluster.

Baby Boutique

Grab some new or nearly new baby clothes - only 20p per item!

All clothes are on display in the community room.

Toy Library

Choose from a great selection of toys for children aged 0 - 5. Take them home, play with them, and swap them for something else next week.

Stop Smoking Support

Get 1-to-1 advice from the Stop Smoking Advisor. Ask at the centre.

Parentcraft Class

Prepare yourself for childbirth! Talk to the midwife to join the group.

Teen Parent Support

Connexions offer support for parents aged 16 - 19. Advice about housing, training, employment and benefits.

If travelling from Lees (A669): 

Turn right onto Hartshead Street, following the road onto Rhodes Hill. Turn right onto Lees New Road, at the second mini roundabout turn onto Wildmoor Avenue, Alexandra Children’s Centre is on the right.

If travelling from Kings Street Roundabout Junction between A627 and A62:

Take the turning onto Park Road; continue along through the traffic lights onto Abbeyhills Road. Continue along Abbeyhills Road. Past the speed camera. Turn left onto Lees New Road; at the third mini roundabout turn left onto Wildmoor Avenue. Alexandra Children’s Centre is on the right
