Prior to making a planning application, a developer may ask the local planning authority to state in writing in their opinion as to the information to be provided in an Environmental Statement. The opinion given is called a 'scoping opinion.'

Proposal

The construction of a new 15,000 seat football stadium (including hospitality suites) and a 750 space car park both of which will be located in the northern part of the site. The proposals for the south of the site will compromise a soccerdome (including 5-a-side pitches, gyms etc.), covered full size football pitches, approximately 20 allotments and associated car-parking and a 90 bedroom hotel.

Proposal

The construction of a new pick-face warehouse (with "undercroft" distribution area), connected to Lilac Mill by a two storey link building, in the eastern/central part of the site; a 315 space car park replacing the existing 330 spaces; a single storey extension to the existing security lodge; and a new access barrier.

Foxdenton Employment Area, Chadderton

Proposal

500 residential units and 750,000 ft2 employment/commercial.
