Getting out and about
If exercise were a pill, it would be one of the most cost-effective drugs ever invented. You don't have to be a gym addict or a marathon runner to be active.
The Rio Ferdinand Foundation
The Rio Ferdinand Foundation have partnered with Oldham Opportunity Area and put together a programme of activities across Oldham for young people aged 13 – 25.
We are really excited to share our Oldham Online Engagement Programme, please see Eventbrite link and click on any of the listed workshops and find out more information, once registered you will receive an email or phone call to organise specific details i.e. Zoom meeting ID and passwords and answer any questions.
The activities are free and there are a wide variety of workshops available including lyric/spoken word, film-making, live Q&A's, career talks, online safety, mental health & wellbeing and an accredited qualification in Youth Leadership. These workshops are suitable for all young people at any level and all abilities so please sign up and get involved!
