Motorways and Trunk Roads

Oldham Council is the highway authority within the borough of Oldham and is responsible for the maintenance of all publicly adopted roads and footpaths, with the exception of Motorways and Trunk Roads.

National Highways 

National Highways are responsible for the maintenance of Motorways (e.g M60) and Trunk Roads. A663 Broadway in Chadderton, between A627M and Moston Lane East (Manchester boundary), is the only Trunk Road within the borough of Oldham.
