Get a coronavirus vaccination

Vaccinations are now available to anyone aged 12 or above. Anyone over 12 can book online. Anyone over 16 can visit one of our local vaccine clinics without an appointment.

You can renew your items up to four times via the online catalogue or you can call or email the library via 0161 770 8000 or and it can be done for you.


Overdue books

From 1 August 2019, books borrowed from Oldham’s Library service will no longer accrue overdue fines for late returns.  Please remember to bring your items back to the library so that other customers can enjoy them. 

Lost or damaged books

You will be asked to pay all or part of the replacement cost of any books or items that are lost.

Please check all books before you borrow them and point out any damage to the staff at the counter.

If a book or other item is damaged while you have them on loan please tell a member of staff.

Inter-Library Loan

If you would like to request an Inter Library Loan please email with as much information about the item as possible. 

Please note that, if we are able to find the item, a charge of £6 will be added to your account.  This is payable when the item is issued to you.

  • £1 for first sheet 50p for each subsequent sheet

Postage stamps

Standard price Royal Mail Stamps are sold in many branches at the current 1st and 2nd class rate.

Local Studies and Archives

Lost cards

Report lost cards to your nearest library as soon as possible so it can be cancelled.

You are responsible for any books borrowed until your card has been cancelled.
