Oldham Local Studies and Archives is now fully open to the public.
Our opening hours are as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-5pm;
- Tuesday 10am-2pm; Saturday 10am-4pm.
Although it will not be essential to book your place as has been the case over the last few months, we encourage you to consider booking in advance as this enables us to get everything ready in time for your visit, particularly if you wish to view archives.
If you wish to use PCs to access family history websites, or to use microfilm readers, we advise you to book a place by contacting us

As well as being able to search our collections on this catalogue, many of our photographs can also be viewed there.
