Registered for 30 hours free childcare.
Andrea has been working with children for 13 years in total. Started as a play leader for a “before and after school club”, she has also worked in a pre-school where she is now on the management committee. Andrea started childminding at home as she wants to offer a safe, loving, caring environment for other children as well as her own child.
She has a wide range of toys and play equipment for both outdoors and indoors. Andrea holds a Cache NVQ level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development, Asthma, Epilepsy, First Aid & Food Hygiene training. She also has experience of caring for children with Autism from one end of the spectrum to the other.
Andrea is an approved member of Oldham’s Early Years Childminding Network which is a quality assurance scheme of which members have completed a quality assurance award demonstrating a high standard of childcare. She has actively thought about her practice and found ways of improving her service. She received monitoring and support visits from a network coordinator to ensure she continues to work to the national childminding association’s quality high standards.
Andrea has an assistant who is her partner and is a qualified teacher and holds BA Hon in English and social sciences and a post graduate certificate in Theory of Education and practice.
Andrea takes the children on visits to lots of places e.g. Farms, local parks, fire stations, airports, toddler and soft play groups to help deliver the required early year’s foundation stage principles.
Will pick up at midday from local pre-schools dependant on locality - will discuss with parents. Andrea covers Thornham St James Primary school in Royton and Crompton Primary in shaw for before and after School.

- Before and After school places are charged at £4.50 per hour
- Holiday club places are charged at £15per (8 hour) day
- Nursery places are charged at £40 per day (up to 8 hours per day)
- I can do more hours at additional cost of £5 per hour
