Somebody needing a little more help than others, or having things modified for them.

How do you involve parents/carers?

By talking to each other about how the child is doing and their progress and how they achieve things.

Comparing how the child is doing and working together to help the child grow.

By encouraging them in what they do and stimulate their learning.

Setting goals and helping them to get them or as near to them as they are able.

Changing things for them to learn at a pace they are able and modifying things, like a ball to catch use a bigger softer one

How accessible is your service, outside and inside?

My setting is easily accessible with a sloping path to the front door and around the back also.

By assessing the environment of where we would be going to include every one concerned safely.

Finding information of who deals with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND) and getting advice for everybody who needs SEND help.
