How do you identify special educational needs and disabilities?Somebody needing a little more help than others, or having things modified for them.
How do you involve parents/carers?By talking to each other about how the child is doing and their progress and how they achieve things.
How do you support a child’s learning and development?Comparing how the child is doing and working together to help the child grow.
How do you meet a child’s educational needs?By encouraging them in what they do and stimulate their learning.
How do we know my child is achieving agreed outcomes?Setting goals and helping them to get them or as near to them as they are able.
How do you adapt for a child with extra needs?Changing things for them to learn at a pace they are able and modifying things, like a ball to catch use a bigger softer one
How accessible is your service, outside and inside?My setting is easily accessible with a sloping path to the front door and around the back also.
How do you involve children in outings and trips?By assessing the environment of where we would be going to include every one concerned safely.
How do you work with other organisations?Finding information of who deals with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND) and getting advice for everybody who needs SEND help.
