How do you identify special educational needs and disabilities?

First of all discussions with parents on enrolment During the child's time with me observations will take place alongside assessments using the development matters as a guide which will highlight any concerns for development. Discussions will take place with parents if any concerns and referrals made to the necessary professionals and a support plan put in place.
