COVID-19 Update
Q - Is your service open and operating as normal?
A - Mahdlo is currently closed. Due to the current pandemic we have had to close all open access provision.

Q - If not, do you know the date when you will re-open?
A - We do not know when we will be able to reopen. We are following current guidelines closely to adapt our provision when it is safe to do so. We hope to do some small invite-only group work around mid-July.

Q - Are you operating differently? What has changed?
A - The building has been closed and Youth Workers have been working remotely to support our members.

Q – Have you set up a new service due to COVID-19?
A - We have set up Virtual Mahdlo provision which has consisted of a variety of social media content, group zoom sessions, and phone calls. In June, we started outreach provision which includes; visits to members’ homes, activity pack drop offs, and engagement with young people in local public spaces.

Q – Are you planning anything additional across the Summer holiday period?
A - We hope to deliver a Holiday Zone provision which will be adapted to follow guidelines. Alongside this, the CADS Holiday Programme will also run for our members with additional needs or a disability.

Mahdlo's provision will continue to change in order to support young people safely in line with the most recent and relevant guidelines. For up to date information please check our website and social media platforms.
