Description

AYC Youth Group is for children and young people in Oldham with a formal diagnosis of A.S.D.

AYC gives children the opportunity to socialise, spend time with their peers, develop friendships, to develop social skills such as sharing, turn taking and take part in a variety of structured or unstructured activities.

Activities include football and indoor sports, basic cooking, games including PlayStation, arts and crafts, and visits to the park weather permitting. During school holidays we try to go on a variety of outings and trips.

Parents are encouraged to leave their children, however if the child needs a familiar face around for a short while parents can stay and staff at AYC will work through the transition with parent and child.
