Seashell Trust is running a successful Stay and Play session for families of pre-school children with complex special needs.

A fun and stimulating environment where children with complex needs and their parents can engage in developmentally appropriate activities which help to improve the child's development of communication, early exploration, movement and independence.

An opportunity for parents/carers to engage with and help their child develop new skills through play.

An experienced team of staff and parent/carer volunteers to assist and share the fun.

Who would benefit:
Infants aged between 6 months and 36 months with: a significant visual impairment and/or central processing problems of vision and/or a moderate to profound hearing loss or a (probable) loss of auditory processing mechanisms with additional severe to profound learning disability.
Including infants with:
Additional complex physical/medical needs
Progressive sensory impairments
Behavioural difficulties associated with sensory impairments and developmental and communication delay
