Description

Mantra Learning offer training programmes that address the development needs of the individual learner in a protected work/training environment. Our offer is focused on helping young people to make the transition from school to work. We deliver programmes in logistics, automotive, manufacturing and business administration.

Mantra Learning has many years of experience working with young people from a wide range of backgrounds and with all kinds of barriers to learning, including those who have learning difficulties and those who are disadvantaged and disengaged.
We have developed programmes for young people with special needs. Much of the learning takes place outside of the classroom in a real workplace that include health and safety, work development skills, team working and customer service skills. These young people have exceeded all expectations with their enthusiasm to learn and enjoy a working environment.
Our schools offer is a structured programme of learning deliveried half a day a week over 9 months. Each programme teaches practical vocational skills via a level 1 qualification and also incorporates health and safety, employability and communication skills. It is designed to provide the learner with the best opportunity of progressing into employment whether this be via a traineeship, apprenticeship or encourage learners into continuing with their education.
Our training centre in Middleton has built excellent relationships with local schools including Waterhead Academy, Abraham Moss School, Redwood School, Manchester Communications Academy.
