Lakeside School is an independent, specialist day school in Merseyside providing high quality education for girls and boys aged 5 to 13.
The school caters for a diverse group of students with a range of complex communication and learning difficulties, with associated challenging behaviours, our staff have a wealth of experience and knowledge in working with children with a range of diagnoses including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Attachment Difficulties and Early Childhood Trauma, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
School's SEND and Inclusion Information
The school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils exhibiting with special needs including speech, language and communication difficulties, attention deficit disorder and behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
The school also caters for pupils with Social Communication Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Atention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Epilepsy.
The Therapeutic Services are fundamental to the operationof the whole school. This support includes: full time Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologist and an Occupational Therapist. Self-awareness, Counselling and Relaxation Therapy are also part of the school therapeutic offering.
