Description

Cumberland School is an independent, specialist day school providing high-quality education for girls and boys aged 11 to 18. Cumberland has two campuses that cater for a diverse group of students with a range of complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties, challenging behaviours and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

The school also caters for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Asperger's Syndrome, Specific Learning Difficulties, Communication Difficulties, Attachment Disorders, Mild/Moderate Learning Difficulties, Mild/Controlled Epilepsy, to Foetal Alcohol Syndrome.
The additional Vocational Learning Centre opened in 2012 to develop the employability skills of pupils at Cumberland School. The Centre offer various City & Guilds Vocational Qualifications.
