The school also caters for pupils with Asperger's Syndrome, Specific Learning Difficulties, Communication Difficulties, Attachment Disorders, Mild/Moderate Learning Difficulties, Mild Vision/Hearing Impairment, Mild/Controlled Epilepsy and Foetal Alcohol Syndrome. The additional B.E.A.R.S (Becoming Emotionally Aware, Resillient and Sociable) provision opened in 2013 specifically for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and sensory issues.
