Description

Moorland View School is a small specialist school that provides a structured and positive day education experience to students with EBD or associated disorders.

Moorland View School caters for students who for a variety of reasons have not been able to succeed in more mainstream settings. Often students have labels attached (EBD, BESD, ADHD, MLD etc)
The philosophy of Moorland View School reflects the view that many students arrive with this history of failure in educational settings. They are therefore often confused and angry - with themselves and their world. At the School their behaviours however are not viewed as having to do with manipulation or power but rather as a form of self-protection.
