By Car From M60 – Junction 9 Leave the M60 at Junction 9 and travel along Parkway, following signs for Trafford Park and Manchester United. At the large roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Village Way and follow signs for Manchester United and Manchester. Travel along Village Way passing Subway and NatWest on your right. At the large roundabout the first left onto Trafford Park Road, signposted Challenge 4 Change. Challenge 4 Change is the second building on the left (large brick building with 4 large shutter doors) opposite the DAF showroom and next door to Enterprise vehicle hire. From Manchester City Centre Head towards Altrincham / Manchester United on the A56/Chester Road. At the White City Circle roundabout take the left lane and follow signs for A5081/Trafford Park. You will pass Manchester United and Daytona Karting on your left hand side. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, signposted Challenge 4 Change, onto Trafford Park Road. Challenge 4 Change is the second building on the left (large brick building with 4 large shutter doors) opposite the DAF showroom and next door to Enterprise vehicle hire. By Metrolink Take the Metrolink to Media City. Walk across the pedestrian swing bridge near the BBC. Cross the bridge and keep the Imperial War Museum North on your left and the ITV studios on your right. Turn right onto Trafford Wharf Road and then left at the traffic lights on to Warren Bruce Road. Walk to the end of this road and turn right at the roundabout. Keep walking along Trafford Park Road and Challenge 4 Change is the second building on the left (large brick building with 4 large shutter doors) opposite the DAF showroom and next door to Enterprise vehicle hire. By Bus The 250 bus service from the city centre will take about 20 minutes to reach Challenge 4 Change. Once you have passed Manchester United and Daytona Karting on your left hand side, you will approach a large roundabout and there is a stop next to the HSBC bank on Village Way. You will see the back of the Challenge 4 Change building across the road. Cross the road and walk around the building to the front entrance on Trafford Park Road. Challenge 4 Change Challenge 4 Change is a registered charity, established in 2008, to is a unique, indoor urban experiential learning facility – an ‘inward bound' centre!

Our Vision

Challenge 4 Change is a unique concept born out of a vision held by our Project Director, Chris Whiteley. Chris is a former prison officer and an experienced Rugby League professional and sports coach. A unique set of qualities in themselves! His vision is to provide learning and development in an innovative way that engages the learner, holds their interest and motivates them to learn while giving them a great and memorable experience. He wants to enable the learners to overcome any barriers which are holding them back so that they can realise their true potential in life. The team at Challenge 4 Change share this vision and are dedicated to achieving it!

Our Aim

At Challenge 4 Change we aim to help Individuals by removing their barriers and also to build stronger Communities by forging links between the diverse groups that make up each community. We give people the confidence, tools and skills to help themselves, through fun activities and show people how they hold the key to their success – no one else!

Our Training

Challenge 4 Change delivers training to groups of individuals, providing team and personal development. Learning outcomes are improved problem solving, communication skills, team working, conflict resolution and anger management together with increased self-esteem, confidence and motivation. The group sizes vary according to the nature of the programme and the outcomes required and most can be catered for.

Challenge 4 Change can accommodate individuals with physical and learning disabilities of any age. We are able to tailor programs to suit the needs of each visitor.

We provide our very own specialist equipment, adaptive harnesses and qualified and experienced instructors that allows individuals to partake in various activities that are highly enriching and unforgettable
