Description

Off The Record was founded in 1992 to meet the needs of young people by providing a high quality counselling service. Since then we’ve grown to incorporate training services and other projects targeted at young people.

We believe that all young people have the right to free and accessible advice, information and counselling to help alleviate the burden of social, cultural and economic oppression.

We are striving to achieve this by maintaining an independent, free, confidential counselling service that is centrally based for all young people between the ages of 10 and 25 who live in Tameside and 13 to 25 in Oldham.

We understand it can be difficult to make that first contact or appointment with us. For this reason, we run weekly ‘Drop In’ sessions, where you can just turn up to speak to a counsellor, without an appointment, on a one-to-one basis, in confidence. You can also use this time to find out more information about our services.

At Oldham the Drop-In is on Wednesday between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. at Positive Steps

Oldham Medtia Place, 80 Union Street, Oldham, OL1 1DJ
