Before you call, you might be able to find the answer to your question below.

No activation email

If you do not receive an email to activate your account, try entering your details again or checking your spam folder.

Trouble logging in

You must use the email and password you used to create the account.

Make sure you have activated the account by clicking on the link in the email you were sent when you signed up.

Forgotten password

You can reset your My Account password from the login screen by selecting ‘I forgot my password’. You will then receive an email with a Link to reset your password. Please note this Link is only valid for 24 Hours. If you do not receive this email please check your spam email folders. If you have still not received it may be because you are not answering the security question correctly. Please try again and make sure your answer the questions correctly.

Forgotten answer to security questions

If you cannot remember the answer to your security questions you will need to contact the Helpline and ask for them to delete your account so that you can register again using the same email address.

Problems registering your Council Tax account

When registering to see details of your Council Tax account you will be asked to enter a reference number and answer a number of security questions. These details must match the information on your latest Council Tax bill. Please make sure you have your most recent Council Tax bill with you.

Problems registering for the Landlord service

When registering for the Landlord service you will need your creditor reference number. This can be found on your Payment schedules.

Council Tax Team

You can contact the Council Tax Team if you have an enquiry about your Council Tax or wish to make a payment via the Payments line. 

Lines open 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday.
