Oldham Communtiy Power is a social enterprise run on cooperative principles that installs community-owned solar energy on schools and community buildings in Oldham.
OCP have installed solar PV systems on 6 sites so far, with a total install capacity of approximately 215 kW.
All installations are community funded through investments to become members of the society. Investments return an annual dividend, expected to amount to an IRR of approximately 4% over 20 years.
