Oldham Council has an MOT Testing Station which carries out periodic and random testing of Taxi's and Licensed Private Hire Vehicles. MOT's can also be carried out on private and commercial vehicles and the facility has a reputation for independence, as repairs cannot be carried out using the Council's workshops.
