Oldham Council acknowledges the important role of the private rented sector in providing accommodation for a diverse range of households in the borough. Therefore, the Council is seeking to work with private landlords to promote high standards of property and management within the private rented sector.
The Private Sector Housing Team, which is part of the Regeneration Department, is carrying out this work through the Oldham Landlord Accreditation Scheme.
