We are currently working on the Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD). This will set out which land in the Borough will be allocated for particular uses such as housing, or business and industry, as well as areas for protection.
The 'Call for Sites' exercise, whereby the Council asked the public and developers to put forward sites either for development or for protection or that could be put to better use, has now ended. A public schedule of the sites submitted will be published in autumn 2008.
