The Outdoor & Environmental Education Service (OEES) supports a number of special projects and initiatives in partnership with other organisations. An example of this work is the Oldham Schools Linking Project, which is one of the Council's important community cohesion initiatives.
The project brings together schools with significantly different ethnic intakes, and encourages young people to examine issues of harmony and conflict, tolerance and co-operation, positive communication and trust. Parts of the project are delivered by the OEES at the Castleshaw Centre.
The DVD gives a perspective of the flexible way in which the Service can work, to meet the needs of a variety of groups.
