All 5 Neighbourhood Agreements go live
Over the past 3 years NDC, partners and residents have led the way in the development and delivery of Neighbourhood Agreements. We have shown that they are a tool for neighbourhood management and can be adapted to suit any problem or issue that a community may have. We have proved this by leading the way on the Crime and Health agreements and have even used this principle to help our community engage more in local politics.
We now have a strong team of residents who work to develop, sustain and monitor the 5 Agreements. They have been visiting different parts of the country to offer support and advice to Councils and local residents who want to embark on the same journey.
Developing Neighbourhood Agreements is hard work, but if developed with full resident involvement it can help to link services and residents together and help to promote local decision making and fruitful partnership working
If you would like to discuss further or you are interested in meeting the TNT (the resident group) or want support in persuading your key service providers to take your agreements forward please ring Maxine Moar on 0161 785 9716
