Oldham Disability Information Point

Oldham Disability Information Point is a resource, which provides information to disabled people, carers/parents, staff and students. It is run by service users, Adult and Community Services staff and volunteers with the aim of improving access to information for disabled people.

As well as information specifically about disability, Oldham Disability Information Point carries a wide range of ‘life’ information in a range of formats. This includes information about:

All the information at Oldham Disability Information Point (wherever available) is provided in accessible formats such as in Braille, large print, audio, pictorial and in other languages. The Point provides video viewing and audio listening equipment as well as a PC for Internet access. We also hold regular information events.
