What the service is

This service aims to promote and integrate equality, diversity and community cohesion into all the work undertaken by the Adult and Community Services Directorate by providing advice, guidance and support both at strategic and operational level.

The team works closely with users of the service, providers and commissioners to improve access to services and enable more appropriate and responsive service provision to the diverse communities of Oldham.

The team undertakes low level preventative work through maintaining ongoing contact and link.
