Social workers/care managers are attached to all medical, surgical and gynaecology wards and departments in the hospital. They are available to provide counselling, information, advice, support and assessments of the needs of all adults in the hospital regardless of their age.
Services may be arranged by them to meet those assessed needs and support may also be offered to patients, families and carers.
Patients, relatives and carers who require help should either ask the ward sister or any members of the nursing or medial staff to arrange an appointment with a social worker or care manager or should contact the Hospital Social Work Team direct at:
