The role of Environmental Health is to protect and enhance the environment of people who work, live and visit Oldham.
We are responsible for the delivery of a broad range of mandatory statutory services that contribute to the promotion of a healthy and safe local living and working environment for residents, visitors and workers.

Environmental Health is part of the council's Environmental Services Directorate and delivers local services through operational teams of Environmental Health Practitioners, Enforcement Officers and Technicians.
