The Graduate Teacher Programme offers you a way to qualify as a teacher while you work. It is normally a one-year programme of post-graduate training.
The Workforce Development and Governance Service can accredit our own trainee teachers as part of an Awarding Body which comprises of Salford, Tameside, Trafford, Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester Local Authorities, with Manchester Metropolitan University (STTORMM) . Our Service recruits and assists candidates to be matched to a suitable school in which to train. The service supports local candidates on the programme by providing:
