The Early Years toy & resource library

The Early Years Toy & Resource Library

The Early Years Toy & Resource Library works in the same way as a public library – but is only available to registered early years childcare providers in the private, voluntary or independent sector such as:

  • pre-school playgroups
  • private day nurseries
  • independent schools
  • childminders
  • out of school clubs
  • nursery and reception classes in schools.

We have a variety of resources available, from sit ‘n’ ride aeroplanes to topic boxes, games and books. For further details call 0161 770 3692 and request a catalogue, or alternatively view the catalogue at the bottom of the page. At the moment, membership is free and you can borrow resources for up to six weeks (half a term). The Early Years Toy & Resource Library is a fantastic resource that can:

  • enhance the quality of your play provision
  • widen children’s learning experiences
  • enable you to pre-book resources to link with topics you are planning
  • give you the opportunity to change your resources regularly without the expense, or try before you buy.
