Our Commitment and Standards of Service to you.

We will aim to:

  • make it as convenient as possible to pay your rent or housing debt at any time (including out of hours)
  • ensure that you are provided with 28 days' notice of any changes to rent levels
  • issue you with rent payment options before any payments become due and issue you with a swipe payment card within 10 working days of receiving a request
  • provide you with a quarterly rent statement
  • inform you of any rent debts outstanding on former tenancies within 10 working days of your tenancy terminating
  • make realistic, affordable repayment agreements taking into account your personal circumstances
  • explain the reason behind any debt and satisfy you that the amount outstanding is correct give you details of organisations that can give you impartial advice about housing debt
  • give you details of organisations that can give you impartial advice about housing debt.

It is our aim to make it as simple as possible for you to pay your rent and other charges by providing as many payment methods as possible.

As from 1st April 2002, water charges have been included in tenants weekly rent.

How can I pay my rent and other payments to FCHO?

Direct Debit
FCHO give a £5 annual discount for anyone paying rent on a weekly direct debit arrangement. Download our direct debit form and return it to Customer Finance, First Choice Homes Oldham, 1 Medtia Square, Phoenix Street, Oldham, OL1 1AN.

Internet
You can check your rent account balance and make a payment.

maestro Visa Masteracard

Debit / Credit Card – 0161 770 6611
The payment line is open Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm and Saturdays 9am – 1pm. We are also introducing an automated, 24-hour service.

Standing Order
You can make a one off payment or set up regular instalments for a transfer directly from your bank account into ours. You can set this up at your bank or via Internet/telephone banking. You will need your rent reference number and our bank details to do this.

Post Office PayZone & PayPoint outlets
You can make payments by Cash, Cheque or Debit Card but you must take your swipe card with you. If you do not have a swipe card you can obtain one by calling 0800 0852627.
