Oldham Council launches Tommy's Christmas Market Raffle
Oldham Council is offering shoppers a fantastic opportunity to get their hands on some of this year’s most-wanted gifts in time for Christmas Day.
Tommy’s Christmas Market Raffle is now underway and raffle entrants stand a chance of winning some amazing prizes including an Xbox One S console, two bikes with accompanying helmets, and the classic board game, Monopoly.
To enter, you need to simply make a purchase at any stall in Tommyfield Market hall – or the brick or perimeter units - displaying a ‘Tommy’s Christmas Market Raffle’ poster.
In return, regardless of the item’s cost or how many items you buy, you will receive one stamped raffle ticket from the trader.
Fill in your contact details on the back of the ticket and post it in our collection box outside the Market Office (near Hyde’s Newsagents).
There’s also no restriction on how many times you can enter.
Jean Stretton, Oldham Council Leader, said: "The best Christmas tradition is gift giving and this raffle has some excellent prizes to be won.”
“I would encourage people to head over to Tommyfield Market, get some of your Christmas shopping done, and give yourself a great chance of winning some extra festive cheer.”
Raffle entrants (aged 16 and over) must submit their raffle tickets to the designated collection box by 5pm on Friday, 16 December. The draw will be made the following day at Noon on Tommy’s Field by Tommyfield Market’s very own mascot, Mr Tommyfield.
Look out for Mr Tommyfield in the run up to the draw too as he will be handing out blank raffle tickets to shoppers around the town centre. Our libraries across the borough also have blank tickets for you to take away.
Remember, the more times you buy, the higher your chances are of winning…
