Original Election Statement:

I grew up in Hill Farm Close, Fitton Hill and moved to Hathershaw as a 19yr old, I am now 42yrs old. I am a father to two children, one pre-school and one voting age.

I have previously been a parent governor at Hathershaw School, and along with serving my community as a Resident board member for the last three years. I am a volunteer instructor at a local club on Fitton Hill and Treasurer and Fundraiser for The Black and Blue Association (we raise funds to buy sport equipment and help youths in the community to enjoy martial arts.)

I am also involved in the new community group who are actively campaigining for NDC backing and support from sponsors and the lottery fund to create a new community facility on Rosary Road and bring the old school fields back into use for local teams.

If re-elected i will continue to be a voice for my community, committed to improving Hathershaw and Fitton Hill for the benefit of all, championing the unheard and ignored views of the majority against the politically motivated schemes being foisted on us.

There is only a few years left for the NDC. We need to ensure that once the money runs out we are left with a legacy for our children, with better community facilities, more green space and an area to be proud of once more, after so many years of neglect.
