I have lived on Firtree Avenue, Oldham since 1981, I am married and have a son 33 yrs who is a teacher at Hartshead Sports College A-U-L.

I served 30 years in Great Manchester Police, stationed at Failsworth, Oldham, Manchester City Centre and the Force Training Centre.

I have been retired 4 yrs and during that time I have taught at Oldham College.

I am a keen rugby fan and during the early 70s I played for Oldham Rugby League Club.

My main hobby at the moment is karate, which I teach twice a week in the Oldham Area.

I have had various responsibilities during my Police Service and feel that the experience gained would be of benefit to the Community.

Qualifications are: NVQ Level 3 Supervisory Management First Aid Instructor, Level 2 Coach Karate, 3rd Dan Shoshone Karate. Teaching Cert Level 3 in further education.
