I have lived in the area for forty years and was privileged to be elected by yourselves the residents of the area to sit on the NDC Board.

I initially joined the NDC after years of frustration at what the NDC has achieved, wanting to ensure that we were given more information and projects were started and completed in reasonable timescales.

We are now seeing that things are happening in the area after a magnitude of hard work by all at the NDC. The first of the major builds completed (community centre). Many other projects re running in the area and we are starting to notice and feel a difference, less crime, less youth problems and the area getting cleaner. Now we have come to the next transition stage for the area.

A new neighbourhood centre to be built, Ashton Road Development and also the early stages of H.M.R. I hope I can count on your vote to re-elect me to continue sitting on the board. To be a strong voice for all residents of the area. This will enable me to try and make sure we continue with the progress we are making in Fitton Hill and Hathershaw. Which hopefully will be a prosperous, brighter and safer place to live in now and long after the NDC has finished?
